I was thrilled to hear that friends of ours wanted to hire me to take images of their new little baby. After all newborns are my favorite sessions to shoot! Then the excitement added when I found that dad’s one requirement from the session was a shot of his boy in a Motley Crue onesie! Talk about knowing you’re heading for a laid back session!! Then I found that he was a little past “newborn” state, 7 weeks to be exact, and I became anxious. There is kind of a hit or miss with babies when they get to month two and three. The continual sleeping stage is gone. They are not quite as ‘pose-able’ anymore. But I still jumped at the chance. A baby is a baby and they are all little QTs!
And boy did Mr Luke put all my fears to rest that day.
He was wonderful. Not a tear out of him. (Except when we tried to put him in a basket…. we’ll never forget that, right mom and dad? heh!) He was a trooper for all else. And as usual, as I edited… I fell in love! Just look at this little man’s face.
