I’d like to share another wedding from a few weeks back that I second shot for Kristi from Kristi Wright Photography.  I loved this wedding. Kristi’s great, the bride and groom were gorgeous and everything was put together so beautifully.  All the details were stunning. Love Love Love weddings!!

four oh!

We recently had a party celebrating the fact that I am now married to an old man! Yes, my 12 year old man is the big 4-0! …And what better way to honor that, than to play with kiddie toys! We rented an inflatable boxing ring and beat the snot out of each other and our friends. We also rented sumo wrestler outfits in which Critter and my BIL battled in the ring, chased each other up and down the street and knocked on neighbor’s doors, fighting again in their yards. Video games, foosball, air hockey and lots of karaoke… we had a lot of fun! Here are a few of the shots I got when I wasn’t playing!

A short while ago, I got to second shoot a wedding with the super awesome Bonnie of Bonnie Berry Photography again!   I really admire Bonnie’s work  so shooting with her is a treat for me. She has such a creative eye.  The weather was gorgeous that day, which was perfect because the entire event was outside at a beautiful vineyard just north of Austin.

Jessica + Gregg | austin wedding photographer | mollie kendall photography

Jessica and Gregg got married a few weeks ago. They were both so relaxed and chill, the entire day went smoothly, despite the 106 degree temperature. They both live in Dallas but with a lot of out of town guests from Chicago expected, they choose to have a destination wedding, here in Austin. And why not? I mean… it IS Austin!! They had their ceremony at Old Pecan Street Cafe’s new courtyard location and their reception in the original building, overlooking 6th street. It had the perfect vibe. Adding to it, they also had a great band play throughout the day that they ran across while on 6th a few months prior, Tucker Jameson and the Hot Mugs. Super talented guys, both in their own music, and in their ability to cover any song. Congratulations Jessica and Gregg!
