Humane Society of Williamson County | austin pet photographer | mollie kendall photography

I am so excited!! I’ve recently started working with The Humane Society of Williamson County animal shelter. We are hoping that through photography we can increase the adoption rates and get more of those sweet animals into some new forever homes!

I will be sharing more of that later, but to start, I photographed some of the current residents for the shelter’s Holiday mailers. The mailers will contain information on how people can help the shelter… whether it be through adoptions, fostering a pet, volunteering time, donating items from their wish list or simply helping with a monetary donation to help them continue in their important work! Please visit their website and see how you can help ♥ Also, check in and ‘like’ them on their Facebook page for event updates!

h+d’s wedding | austin wedding photographer | mollie kendall photography

I’d like to share some recent wedding photos taken while working with the ever talented Tyler Schmitt. This was my first experience with a Jewish ceremony and I found it so interesting seeing all the rituals and learning what they mean. But as awesome as that was, the ceremony was amazing! The bride and a lot of the bridal party come from a long theater background and they brought a LOT of singing into the reception. Both the bride and groom sang along with their choir, the ‘man of honor and ‘best woman’ sang a duet, a bridesmaid sang a song A Capella as well as one of the choir members, singing At Last… which brought me to tears!! I really love weddings and moments like that are exactly why.

Ween | austin band photographer | mollie kendall photography

I recently had the opportunity to photography one of my favorite bands, Ween, at The Parish.
I’ve seen the band on every tour for 20 years now {wow, did I just say 20 years?}, some years even traveling to multiple Texas tour shows.
This round was an acoustic set with Gene Ween and Dave Dreiwitz.
It. was. amazing!
I hope you enjoy the photos. It was really really hard to not completely over share!
{special thanks to Kat and Dan with Synaesthesiax for letting me crash their lighting booth!}
