I’m excited for you to meet sweet baby Conner! He was probably THE happiest baby I’ve ever met. Three months old and already so so expressive! I’ve only met one other newborn that threw me this many smiles and it happened to be his big sister Sally when I did her 3 month old photos a few years back.
I’m not going to lie… When mom contacted me for a newborn photography session of her new baby and told me her little girl was named Lucy Grace, I was jealous. Jealous I didn’t think of that name first. How adorable is that, Lucy Grace? And then to go meet her and discover she was just as sweet as her name? Well let’s just say that was a couple hours of pure heaven for me.
Wait what? It’s been a year since I’ve photographed sweet little Ella? You may remember her from her birth photography session and her newborn photography session last year. Her family moved to north Texas and I haven’t had the chance to see her in several months. I was THRILLED when her mom said she was making the 5+ hour trek back to Austin so that we could photograph her one year old first birthday cake smash! Still amazed that she drove 11 hours in one day for these photos, but in the end, so worth it! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I. Love. Cake Smashes! They are hysterical and so much fun to watch. And it doesn’t hurt when baby is as adorable as this one ♥
I was so happy to have been asked to photograph this wedding at Texas Old Town. Mariann and Travis are two of the most fun, down to earth, amazing people and they are just perfect for each other. Spending time with them, you’d think they’ve been together since they were kids. They very obviously love each other and have such a great time. Here is a little bit about them.
“We met 3 years ago through a local dating website. We instantly hit it off and found out we had a lot of the same interests. We both knew immediately that we had found someone special and have been pretty much inseparable ever since. He proposed on August 11th by completely surprising me at work with a bouquet of flowers and the ring. It was awesome. The wedding was a blast. The food was great and everyone had a great time. We went to Belize for our honeymoon and it was amazing. We got to relax as well as go off on adventures. It was perfect. Since then, we get to come home to each other every day which is what we’ve been looking forward to since we met.”
