I’d like to share Stephanie and Andrew’s engagement photos! They live in different cities due to work and school, he in Dallas and she in Phoenix and Temple, but will be getting married here in Austin this coming June, and finally settling in Dallas. They chose the always gorgeous Zilker Botanical Gardens for their engagement session and I think they turned out beautifully. They were so easy to photograph. I can’t wait for their wedding day!
I don’t know where to start. I guess I’ll start with how much I love these two people! And I don’t mean that they hired me, I photographed them for a couple hours and they were cool people. I really do love them! I’ve known Aron for 17-18 years now. He is one of my husband’s closest friends. He was even one of our roommates for 6 years back before we got married. And Wanza… well she is one of THE most wonderful people you could ever hope to know. One of my best friends. So really, in a true sense, I do love these two. And to watch them fall in love and now plan a wedding? It’s so so awesome! I’d say I’m bummed that I don’t get to photograph their wedding but I can’t. Because I’m in it! I really just can’t wait to celebrate their wedding with them next year! But I did have the honor of photographing their engagement session. ♥ Last year I did some family photos for them and you can see that they are a ton of fun to work with. There was a great deal of laughter during that shoot and this one was no different. Here are just a few of my favorites.
Meet Megan and Derek. Megan had to come all the way to Texas from Michigan, and Derek from Ontario, to meet each other and fall in love. They are so sweet together and the session so relaxed. I simply can’t wait to be there to photograph their wedding next May! I’d love to share some photos from their engagement shoot at Zilker Botanical Gardens in Austin.
You’ll probably recognize Mariann and Travis from the wedding slideshow I recently posted. They were married last month at Texas Old Town . It was raining a lot of the day so it was wonderful to do a “day after session” after they returned from their honeymoon! Here are some of my favorites ♥
