Last weekend I had another family shoot. This one was particularly fun for me because Mom and I went to high school together. I missed my 20 year reunion this year due to work so I was happy to get to catch up with her a little bit. She has the most awesome family and a stunning home.

Recently I had a family session with the Kephart Family. It was great to see mom and dad again. I had the pleasure of taking their daughter’s newborn photos at the end of last year (you can see them HERE) and I remembered them being a fun couple to work with. It really is so nice when you get to work with people who keep you laughing so much that it doesn’t feel like work at all! The older kids were in school at the time so this was my first chance to meet them. They both did an awesome job!

I love when my clients come back to see me! Two years ago, I met this sweet little girl and her family for her first birthday cake smash photos, which you can see here. She’s grown so much and if it’s possible, she’s more adorable than ever. She’s clearly so happy and so loved by Mommy and Daddy, that was obvious! Thanks to you guys, I had fun during our shoot. Looking forward to seeing you in the spring!!

This one was a part of their sneak peek but I love it so so much, I had to share it again!

It was great to see this family last week for their family photography session. Last time I saw them was when little man was born and we had his newborn photos done, which you can see here. That was almost 2 years ago. So awesome to see how much he’s grown and visit with them again!

Mom emailed me after viewing this first image and said it made her cry. You have no idea how that makes me smile. Aren’t they the most adorable?

the stone bunch | austin family photography

A few weeks back I photographed (and recently blogged) a cake smash session with twins. Mom and dad decided to set up a family session a couple weeks later! They moved somewhat recently to Austin from California and wanted something near water and green for their session. These were taken just before our million days of 100+ degree Texas heat so everything wasn’t entirely dead yet… yay!

The photo with just the twins has to be one of my favorite. I laughed so hard trying to get this shot. They did. not. like. grass! Trying to set them down in it instantly made their feet pop up and the sad faces kick on! This was the only one I got fired off after mom and dad scattered in different directions and before the waterworks began.

I have to say that working with such laid back and relaxed families makes my job so enjoyable… Thank you Stone family!

I’m an editing machine this week. I’m trying to finish things up so that I can take a good 2-3 days off with my family for Thanksgiving. Aaaaalmost done with my session from yesterday with one of my favorite families. I’ve photographed them twice before and it’s always fun to see how miss carly has grown. She just shines when she smiles. I couldn’t wait mom and dad…. had to share a couple {smile} I’ll have the rest for you soon.
