Several months ago, I held a Diaper Derby contest. Votes were tallied by “likes” on images on my Facebook page. This adorable set of triplets was the winner and we held off on the session until their first birthday for a cake smash! I’ve done quite a few of these sessions now, even one with twins, and they are always a blast…. but with triplets it was 3x the crazy fun!

A while back I had a contest on my Facebook page. Diaper Derby was it’s name and babies age 6 months to a year was the game! These three triplets stole the show with over 360 votes! I’ve photographed multiples before, but this was my first set of trips and boy did we have fun watching these three tear into their first birthday cake! Such little personalities ♥ I have many more to share but thought I’d throw out a sneak peek photo for mom and dad to see. Stay tuned…
So fun to see twins, Gavin and Hartman again!! They were one of my first newborn clients two years ago, and I believe my first multiples ever.
I saw them again when photographing their aunt’s wedding at Le San Michele and really didn’t think they could get much cuter.
I was wrong.
One with his priceless blonde curls and the other with his killer James Dean stare…

Mom warned me in an email to wear running shoes to the session because they were FAST.
So, I showed up to the session biting my lip but they were a gigantic bowl full of awesome.

I photographed these adorable little boys when they were newborns (here) and was happy to have mom and dad bring them back for some first birthday photos!
One year old twins are tricky. Our session began like this…
But we eventually found our smiles and actually got them to sit still long enough for some pictures.
Boy those little guys loved to crawl…. 
Loved them. Their grins were just infectious!
