I’m not going to lie… When mom contacted me for a newborn photography session of her new baby and told me her little girl was named Lucy Grace, I was jealous. Jealous I didn’t think of that name first. How adorable is that, Lucy Grace? And then to go meet her and discover she was just as sweet as her name? Well let’s just say that was a couple hours of pure heaven for me.

Wait what? It’s been a year since I’ve photographed sweet little Ella? You may remember her from her birth photography session and her newborn photography session last year. Her family moved to north Texas and I haven’t had the chance to see her in several months. I was THRILLED when her mom said she was making the 5+ hour trek back to Austin so that we could photograph her one year old first birthday cake smash! Still amazed that she drove 11 hours in one day for these photos, but in the end, so worth it! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I. Love. Cake Smashes! They are hysterical and so much fun to watch. And it doesn’t hurt when baby is as adorable as this one ♥
It was really awesome for me to photograph these two boys again. I first met them in the summer of 2009 for Elias’ newborn photos. Now they are back for some gorgeous bluebonnet wildflower pictures. We had a blast pretending they made us sneeze. Loved these boys. Simply adorable ♥
I few weeks ago, I was happy to photograph Mariann and Travis’s wedding at Texas Old Town in Stone Hall! It was rainy most of the day, which kept us inside, but that didn’t matter to these two. They were so obviously happy to be getting married. More about them and the details of their special day in a blog post to come soon. For now, a slideshow to share their story.
