I am SUPER excited to share a new set of charity sessions, with your pet as the star, that will help raise money for The Humane Society of Williamson County!
There is no session fee! Make a donation of $30+ for the shelter and receive a free session for your pet and a 5×7 of your favorite image!

The process is simple.

Book your time slot with me on Saturday, March the 3rd.
Follow the link below and make your donation of $30 {or more if you like!} directly to this events page on HSWC’s website. Remember, your charitable donation is tax deductible!
Print your donation receipt and bring a copy to your session!
Your pet will have a 15 minute photography session in which we will capture some adorable shots of your furry family member!
Receive a 5×7 of your pet’s best shot!

Now, in my best As Seen On TV voice… ‘But wait, there’s more!’
After the sessions are finished, we will have a contest for the cutest photo! One image from each session will be posted on our Facebook page and go to a vote. The photo with the most ‘likes’ will receive a free mounted 11×14!

If you have ever thought of a photography session for your pup, now is the perfect time but book early, sessions are limited! Help a shelter provide for their furry friends and get some great photographs of your pet! I believe this is my fourth time photographing the Swanson family in the last four years!
I couldn’t be happier about this year’s occasion… sweet baby Bennet, making them a new family of four ♥

This sweet baby has got to be the most spoiled and lucky baby in the world. His daddy is the fantastic chiropractor over at Cedar Park Chiropractic. Day one of life and little Bennet had his first adjustment! Regular adjustments for life?… Umm, jealous! I personally have seen Jeff professionally after a messy ice hockey injury and I’ll tell you now, those were happy happy days! Sooo helpful!

We took the next image for Jeff’s office waiting room to promote his Chiro Kids services. I sure wish I knew Dr Swanson when my daughter had colic!! Please follow the link over to his site and see all the benefits your child can receive by these services… and tell him I sent ya {wink}

Recently, I shared a post on some new work I was going to start doing. Now that the holidays crazies are over, I’ve made time to donate back to The Humane Society of Williamson County animal shelter again! We are hoping that through photography we can increase the adoption rates and get more of those sweet animals into some new forever homes! There are many ways to help the shelter… whether it be through adoptions, fostering a pet, volunteering time, donating items from their wish list or simply helping with a monetary donation to help them continue in their important work! Recently, I was happy to shoot a wedding with my friend Susan of Robinwood Photography. Even though it rained out at Angel Springs that morning, things couldn’t have turned out any more beautiful for the ceremony. The entire day was touching, as all the tears made it clear how much his family really loved each other. When the groom and his mother had their dance and began to cry together, it sent me over the edge and I cried along with them. These moments are what make weddings so special. And of course I love a great reception. I’m not sure I saw the bride ever leave the dance floor! I had to fall in love with this couple when they got low to ‘do the stanky leg’ dance in the last shot.

I am excited to be sharing this wedding with you! Choosing images to put on this blog is always a challenge. I really struggled with this one trying to narrow it down to an acceptable sized blog post. I loved the bright colors and the many many details that the bride and groom choose for their day. A lot of things were handmade by them and family members making the day even more special. Hacienda Del Lago provided a stunning view overlooking the hill country.

Hali and Phill were married in New Braunfels at the beautiful Gardens of Cranesbury View. You know a couple is perfect for each other when the groom’s vows begin with “You are my fire. My one desire. Believe when I say…” and it sends the bride into a fit of laughter. When it continues on with “You will always be my raw carrots. I will always be your frozen peas. I will always be there to take care of any dinosaur lizards or porch frogs. I will always do my best to make sure that I am more hefty hefty hefty than stinky stinky stinky.”.. you know you are watching two people that are not only in love… but best friends. They have so much fun and laughter in their relationship. It was clear to me that they will have a great time together, forever.

The next two shots are the very reason I always insist on a second shooter with all of my packages.
How else would we have these two awesome images, from completely different perspectives, at EXACTLY the same moment??

Recently I had a session with sweet little Haven. I did her newborn photos at the beginning of the year.
Mom was back for some 9 month shots and this little girl won my heart all over again.
Such a sweet smile!

{Oh and the bowl and pitcher grandma brought along. She had all her children photographed in it and now was getting to start with photos of her grandchildren ♥}
