The two of them came into contact again after 20 years, I believe via Facebook, and their connection instantly reappeared. Because he lives here and she lives on the other side of the country, they wanted some photos to celebrate their rekindled relationship. I have to say… in photographing this couple, they could NOT take their eyes off each other :) I definitely felt a few times as though they may have forgotten I was standing there. {heh!}

This is my third session with her and as the saying goes, it proved to be a charm.

And now here she is a year later. Looking at these just warms my heart.
Miss Carly had a few moments of not being herself. Nothing honey graham bears and a sippy couldn’t fix.
And by the end, I was so happy with the results of our shoot! We ended up with lots of smiles.
…though I am totally in love with her serious looks too!

Aaaaalmost done with my session from yesterday with one of my favorite families.  I’ve photographed them twice before and it’s always fun to see how miss carly has grown.  She just shines when she smiles.  I couldn’t wait mom and dad…. had to share a couple {smile} I’ll have the rest for you soon.

I just counted my Cutie Patootie entries this evening and we have a grand total of 67! I sure don’t envy my friends who must now narrow them down to 5 for me!  There are a lot of cuties in the bunch so the decisions will be hard!  Expect to see another post in about a week to view the semi-finalists. I will notify all winners by email so that they have plenty of time to get all their friends and family to vote. (remember only unique votes will be counted.)

I have two newborn shoots to share in the next week, but for now?… just a few I edited today of my little guy at the sprinkler park. You must know that my editing my personal photos is rare these days so visualize me patting myself on the back now.
