Recently, I did a commercial shoot for a local floral/gift supply retailer. They had some new products to offer their florists who design corsages and were in need of some catalog shots. Not squishy sweet newborns, but still fun. Here are a few of the corsages and a couple other florist odds and ends. I luff butterfly anything and I altered my payment from them to include some of the little flutterby trinkets at the bottom

Last weekend we went to Houston for my husband’s 20th reunion and to celebrate my FIL’s birthday. While there, we went down to Galveston for a few hours. It was a mini vacation of sorts for me to be by the ocean. Galveston is not the prettiest beach and the weather was extremely rainy and gloomy, but I drug my camera out regardless. In editing, I had to incorporate the mood and feel of the weather and it fit into my memory perfectly.
I recently had a photography session with two of the cutest little dollies around! These girls were just gorgeous! Mom and I both live in Leander but were torn on whether to head into Austin for an urban shoot, or out to one of Georgetown’s beautiful parks for a more organic shoot. As we talked more about her home and style, she described herself as ‘reincarnated from someone who lived in the 1930’s/40’s’. The to me was choice was clear. We definitely needed nature. The park was spring green and the lake full. We couldn’t have made a better choice or picked a more gorgeous day!
