Hi, I'm Mollie.
Woman. Wife. Mother. Creator. Artist.

I'm a photographer, with a more modern style, working with both natural and studio settings and lighting. I specialize in newborns, children and high school seniors. I also enjoy working with engaged couples and book select weddings each year.

I am unbelievably lucky to get to do what I love for a living! I'm also so blessed to find people who truly value photos of their family and choose me to capture these unique moments in their lives. Not something I take lightly.

I have to say, I went into this session with my doubts. Many of my photographer friends shy away from newborns… and run screaming from twins. I think someone asked me if I owned a cape in putting out a casting call to schedule some multiples. I hoped for a couple twin bookings. I got it. But then was simply over the moon when a expectant mommy of *three* contacted me! I surprisingly wasn’t nervous. I loaded up my van, full to the brim with photography gear, picked up my wonderful assistant Kristie, and headed over to meet the most beautiful set of triplets… ever! Seriously, I was shocked at how easily they were to work with. And so so sweet. {big sigh……} Here is peek at our session. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!!

About Me

How did I get here? Hi, my name is Mollie. I am a girl from Austin who somehow transplanted out to Leander, Texas... to the suburbs of the city. I'm an Austin girl all the way through however. I am a mom raising two short, crazy, fruit-loopy kiddos. I'm a wife, married to a guy named Critter. I'm an ice hockey player who enjoys messing around with her garden. That pretty well sums up my world. Oh opps… forgot a major piece. The reason you're here... I’m a photographer! Now, I’d love to tell you that I’ve been in love with the camera since I could walk but that simply isn’t the case. I’m not sure I even owned a real camera before I had kids truthfully. And even then, once the first child emerged, I was a video camera user full force. But moving out to Leander and falling into many playgroups, I tried to pick up the other mom’s hobby of scrapbooking. Critter teased. Why would I do that when I have such a great Photoshop background he would ask. Clearly, as in most instances, he was correct. I flopped to the other side into digital scrapbooking. It would have been dreamy for me had I not stumbled upon a major problem. I was running out of photos, and fast! Enter Christmas 2006… the glorious DSLR camera gift. {Can you hear the angelic music playing?} From that moment on, everything I did revolved around learning that machine. Books, classes, workshops… The camera never left my possession. I was known to pull over during traffic just to catch a shot of something silly on the side of the road. It’s become a part of me forever, as easy as breathing. In the end, it's become an amazing career that I am so thankful for. Not many people can say they truly love their jobs. I can.
